When using my headlights on my 94 GT they dim out, sort of go on and off, my corners stay on though. Also happens when using my high beams, but if I hold the handle to the high beams they stay on until i let them go. Any suggestions??
Can this be the relay? If it is where is it located? Thx!

Do they just dim when you are at idle or is engine speed unrelated?

Have you checked to make sure you have a good connection? What kind of condition is your ground wire in?

What connection do you mean?
My ground wire looks alright had to disconnect the other day because it was dirty from the battery terminal, car wouldn't start until i cleaned it and shifted the negative terminal a bit.
Not sure if something is loose or what.

Check to make sure your headlights are plugged in good and nothing is loose. If they just alternate going dim/bright while driving it sounds like something may be loose and getting a weak signal. Kindof like the headlights are being plugged in and then unplugged and plugged back in. Do you understand what I'm trying to say? Hope I havent confused you.

I got what your trying to say I tried that lights seem to be in tightly, I do think something is loose but don't know what.

I re-read your first post. The part about holding the h-beam handle makes me think it may be a short in the switch. I've never dealt with a '94 GT. Are there any contacs in the switch that you can access to clean? I think your getting an intermittent signal from something. Just keep digging is all I know. Run the wires from the switch to the headlights. Maybe somewhere in your search you will find the grimlin. Good luck.
