keyless entry receiver

lost one of my keyless entry for my honda accord 2003 was able to get a replacement and programed it but i notice it was the same as i one i lost do i have to change the receiver so i can have a different program if so where can i locate it in the car. thanks

As I understand it, each remote is unique. When you program the remote, you are actually programming the car to accept the remote codes. So you should be OK with the new remote.
