keyless remote/ alarm

can anyone help me see if i have a keyless entry or alarm on my 1998 avenger just purchased car used and have no idea if it does or not possibly with vin number any help will be helpful

If you have power locks in your Avenger, you have keyless entry and just need to get remotes and program them (technically program the car to the remotes).

My remote was toast too - that is a great site! Almost bought one on ebay for $$ more.

You should just call a dealership in your area and ask them. They are professionals and even have service manuals to find out. Other than that it is very possible that your car has it but the remote is lost. You could find out where the remote entry control box is on an avenger and then check to see if you have it that way.
