If I was looking to get a Food Dehydrator, what should I look for.
I'm thinking of importing one from the USA / Canada as they are £100's in the UK if you can find one.

There was a thread which really covered everything you would want in one ;)
You want it big enough to accept the biggest 1/24 bodies, and you don't want the temp to exceed 110 F, a fan is also a big plus as it will help circulate the air.

If you wanted to make yoghurt, yes
But you really want something with a fan, which that one lacks.
Something to this effect without this price tag is ideal:

One like I had: (got broken in a move)

Another good option:

This is the one I have (just got it a couple of months ago) and I'm quite happy with it. I've only been able to use it a few times, but it seems to work just as I was hoping.
It's got a temp guage on it, fan, and they sell extra trays in case you need to make it bigger.
Good luck!

Thats the very same one i have, picked it up at Walmart for no more than 40 dollars. Cut several grills out and now i can fit mostly anything.

Search feature
In short, it cuts down the paint drying times. And you can make snacks while you build..... :icon16:

Hey HiroBoy - I'm based in London. If you're looking at getting a few in, let me know - you might get better pricing for buying more. They are such a pain to get in the UK....
