I might be stating the obvious but I don't know... fuel cut is only seen when boosting too high.... your NA... did I miss something?
Fuel pump rewiring is done to prevent fuel cut.... that's my knowledge...

here's the link that I got too for rewire... http://www.raktron.com/fuel/rewire1.html

I'm no expert, or anything but are you acually getting fuel cut, or just no gas at all. If your car won't run at all, then you don't have to worry about that. If the fuel is "cutting out" then who knows.

Fuel cut is when the ecu see's more then 2.55g / rev. Your not hitting fuel cut. Rewireing does nothing to prevent or permote this issue.

Rewiring the fuel pump with a 40amp fuse and 12 gauge wire alows more current to reach the FP, making about 1.5-2volts more output, netting about 20-35GPH more flow out of the fuel pump.

Whats going on with your 92 GS?

If I were to guess I would say the car is not getting fuel at all, and this term just came up in a search he did and may not be at all what he really needs to know about. That being said, a fuel cut defencer is a device that tricks the ECU into not going into fuel cut at high boost. I would avoid them like the plague on DSMs, and they are of no use at all with a NT car. It will probably turn out to be a bad fuel pump, wiring, or fuel pump relay. Good luck.
