93 vette air cond.not working.compessor will not kick in.trying to put freon in.havereplaced switch on low side of line.any suggestions

Run a 12v lead to the compressor hot wire (usually a green wire) to see if your compressor is working. If it works, load the refrigerant and test the compressor with the jumper removed. If the compressor doesn't start by itself, check your relay and the socket it plugs into.
