Hey, how ya'lll doin,
Im new round here, just picked up my first car... 1995 firebird and I'm inlove:lol2: with it. Im only 16, so im starting off young.

Just a few questions though
How much would it cost to switch from Automatic to manual?
(a ball-parked estimate)
How much is it to put t-tops onto the car?
(the man we bought it off of said he got it appraised for 1500$ but that was about 2 years ago)

I got the car for 5k but it was listed for 7500, V6, 175k km on engine. Loaded w/o leather and w/o t-tops.

Thanks guys!
Joe

dude, don't bother doing any of that. To have someone "add" T-tops is gonna cost way more the 1500 after paint. And to put in a whole new m-6 tranny with modification is gonna cost a fortune unless u are doing it yourself with a rebuilt m6 tranny. You paid too much for the car, i know u are young so im not gonna get on your case. I have found plenty of trans ams with t-tops, leather and 6 speed manual well under 150k miles for 5 grand in good shape. My advice..sell the car asap and *try* to get what u paid for it, then shop around for a trans am with all the options u want.....u will find it if u look.

It has 175k KM, which is like 90-100k miles.

And I dunno if I'd want to put the tranny in there, but thats why I just would like a ball-parked estimate to get somebody else to do it.

Thanks,
Joe

first u have to buy the tranny and all the parts, not to sure how much that would come to exactly, but to have someone else put it in, depending on labor per hour prolly easily over a grand.
Y do u want to make your car a stick anyways?
