Dark chicken meat is gross!

I just ate the grossest lunch! :apuke: I grabbed Moondog’s by mistake. We both had noodles with chicken, however I only eat the breast meat and he loves the dark meat :apuke: Needless to say I nearly heaved all the way through it and ended up leaving half of the chicken. Dark meat is just gross! :apuke:

Just thought I’d share! :D and no doubt there are some more sickos out there that like the dark stuff :p

Yeah my dad likes that stuff, not sure. I think its gross too.

I stick by my decision. White meat is so bland tasting. The best parts are the drumsticks. Its always so tender, and has good flavour. Infact, all this talk is making me hungry :silly2:

Meat is meat. Dark isnt as dried out as white meat is, but I'll eat them both. White goes better on sandwiches most of the time though. And nothing with bones?! man, I bet you like your steak well done too.:bloated:

Dark all the way!!!!!!!!! (as you will have gathered from Spec2's original expose of our lunches :p ) There's just more taste, and the white meat just seems a bit dry and yuk to me.

For meals or sandwiches I like white meat. Nothing like biting into a nicely cooked chicken breast. I'll eat dark meat if that's all there is. Heck, sometimes I'll "mix and match" if there is a plate and I can take more than one slice of meat.

As for red meat: :apuke: I don't like the stuff. No, I"m not some animal rights activist. The stuff just doesn't taste good. When my family "forces" me to eat steak, I douse it in so much A1 sauce that there is no flavor but A1. But my family eats their steak medium-well, so not much 'flavor' is left anyway.

The breast is the best part of the whole chicken :flash: .....dark meat...yuk :eek:

And as for you guys having red meat with the blood coming out...that is sick :eek: :eek:...lol ....its got to be well cooked but nice and tender :cool:

My favorite meat is pork....could eat it all day long

prefer white meat ....but don't have any probs with dark meat........but like my meat cooked none of this rare crap........

It's so slimy, gray, tender, and bloody. Sick! Breast meat may be dry, but it appears clean and that's what I like about. Wings are good to. I ordered Tender Chicken one time from KFC... it's all dark meat! Could't finish it. It's like someone dumped the legs in snot.
