Stock Alternator

I am planning on putting a higher output alternator on my 95 2.5 liter 24valve v6 avenger. I was wondering if anyone knows how many amps the stock one puts out? I know i can take it out and have it tested but im going to try and avoid that step if i can. I want to make sure that it is worth replacing.
