Hello, this is the first time I have used this forum. I need help finding the correct price on a 1997 Eclipse GS-T. It has 53,000 miles, auto, leather, power roof, p/w, p/l, cuise, CD, and I guess a few more options. The guy said it has every option? Well I drove the car today and let me tell you it is very clean and it still has plenty of balls. He is asking $11,500 on the car for sale sign and $10,700 on the internet. The car needs tires in less than 3,000 miles, it needs brakes now, and I think that someone has played the speakers to loud because it sounded good until I turned the bass knob about 3/4 the way up. Please help in telling me wether I should offer 10,000. Another thing is insurance going to be affordable. I am 20 year old male, no wrecks and one ticket.

Well lets see, I got my eclipse 5 SPD Manual 98 GS-T fully equipped with an Inifiniti Stereo Sound System w/ a 10 disc changer, new RACING tires, an APex exhaust with 44k miles (except whouht leather, cant stand leather) for $15,500 with tax title and plates at a dealer. I think I got a pretty good deal. I dont know if that helps any, maybe you could do some comparison to the deal I got...as for as insurance goes I am 18 years old and I pay $650/6 months just liability, JUST KIDDING, full coverage...but thats including my parents two other cars and a good student discount, and yes I DO pay the car AND insurance on my own, no support from my parents...hope this helps

Man I can not stop thinking about this car. It is a sweet ride and I think that I would love it for many years to come. I am going to call the insurance agent tommorrow and get the good or bad news. I will get the car depending on the price on insurance. Thanks for the response.
