Is there any chance of someone being from ohio who could fix a blown head gasket?
PM me and we can talk pricing. I just like the car too much to call it quits but thats way too much engine for me to even attemp fixing.

I found a product called Block Seal that Is supposed to fix problems like mine. It was 10 bucks and if it works great if not i might ask for some info.
Then again, my local honda dealer thinks they can put a deal together for me...

Hope your Honda dealer deal is better than mine. My Honda dealer here quoted me $800 to replace the headgasket on my motor.

thats what my dealer quoted on my sister's '86 civic hatch, so my dad and i tackled it ourselves. it was a pain in the ass, but we got it done in a weekend, and it worked fine. it was a wasted effort tho, b/c somethin else quit 2 months later and we scrapped it.

If the car was still in good shape i wouldn't hesitate to fix it (94 del sol) but being that there is a dent the size of a semi wheel in the side of it (amazing ly from a semi wheel) it just wasn't worth it. now it's my moms problem i guess. She doesn't have the light touch like i did though. Most people didn't realize there was anything wrong with my car :) practice makes perfect.
