1989 Honda Prelude si

Hey everyone, im sure someone on here can help me out witha ll the prelude users. I have 2 questions is the car fuel injected? And how many HP does the car run at stock. I am interested in grabbing a 2989 Honda Prelude with 135,000 km 5 speed with a mint body for 2100.

If your car is an Si, the HP would be around 135 originally. If not an Si, I believe it would be around 115hp. I do believe that all 89 preludes were fuel injected. An easy way to tell is to lift the hood and see if it has a couple of carburators. Fuel injection is obvious. You will se the big aluminum intake instead of carbs.

Si was Honda's designation for fuel injection (sport injected). In short, if you had an Si you were one of the lucky ones to be fuel injected, and this was not limited to Preludes alone. Civic Si, CRX Si, Prelude Si: fuel injected in the 80's world of carburation.
