The Sport has been sitting in the driveway for 6 months. It ran going in but now refuses to start. It cranks over just fine but no start attemt at all. I've read that the --Fuel pump, CPS, TPS and NSS are very typical dying parts. I plan on Changing all of these since winters coming and can't take a chance on 1 failing. Is there anything else I should check if the Jeep does'nt start ?? Its in Great shape with only 50k miles. My mechanic wants me to bring it to him but he is now trying to find out why my wifes 2001 Pontiac Grand Am fuel pump won't engage after an intake manifold change. So I'm not wasting anymore time & money with him. Thanks in advance--Chris

I wouldn't change all that stuff with only 50K on it. The crank sensor is where i would look after checking the easier stuff like fuses and relays.
I have a 97 and a 2001 XJ and most of sensor have never been replaced. The 97 has 127K on it...the NSS will give a Check Engine light. Check for fuel and spark, that is an old rule of thumb.
