It's great they're now at HLJ; however they're already quite well-established in the hobby and it's not like they were unknown to the world before. They were set up at most major US shows and are professionally advertised and are well-distributed to both hobby shops/distributors and online stores; when you go to any show or open any magazine you see models all the time detailed w/SMS products. They're one of the best examples of how a good aftermarket company can thrive, with products that aren't only purchased, but actively used because they do the job.
Since SMS moved to England (Matthew had to follow his wife who is a high-level executive on assignment in England for a few years) this will be the first year he hasn't set up at our ACME NNL :crying:

I've just been in contact with the people at HLJ about stocking my own products. They mentioned that although they began by just selling out of Japan to overseas customers, they are now looking to buy from overseas to give you more choice. Hence why they now have SMS, Revell, Italeri etc.
They are interested in stocking SAS stuff in the not too distant future

HLJ ROCKS! I hope they do carry your product line. Nice to see such a successful venture, I talked w/Scott Hards at the IPMS convention, not many hobby shop owners can afford to drive a new Mercedes 500SL, especially on the streets of Tokyo where everything is ultra-pricey. More power to him, while some of the more backwards-thinking US companies are having a difficult time.

HLJ really is a good company. Their shipping has improved, prices has been always consistent, and customer service is one of the best. I'm using them more and more lately.
