a pump/pickup assembly. it shouldnt be too bad. you can get it at autozone/pepboys/etc for cheaper than the dealer. install is cake. just drop the tank (2 straps, and a couple of fittings) and it comes right out. install is the exact opposite

I think the fuel pump is in the fuel tank as mentioned, so it may be a bit messy.

89.00 bucks at autozone.

It is easy.. and can be messy.. If you have less than 1/8 of a tank of fuel, jacking up the passenger side 8" will flow all the gas to the drivers side of the tank. More gas than that? then you will have to drain it... there is a drain fitting on the pump/sending unit ahead of the passenger rear tire. It is right on the tank on a 4" diameter plastic plate.

To remove the pump/guage unit, which is in the tank, you need to remove a metal bracket next to the rocker panel.

You do not have to drop the tank. the pump will pop right out. You need a hammer and a brass or plastic drift pin to rotate the retaining clip off the above mentioned 4" plastic plate.

Asside from the gas spillage... and persnickity tube fitting retainers... it ought to be fairly easy..... 1-2 hours for a first timer. Hammer, drift pin.. a nut driver...that is about it.
