Thats what I figured... 9x outta 10, ppl who hate on Linux, are just uninformed... And probably havnt even used it before...
Theres more GUIs for Linux than there is, and will be for Windows... Im using KDE right now... But theres Gnome, Blackbox, Fluxbox, XFce, and theres more... But those are the main ones... These are all actually called Desktop Environments... But you also have many Window Managers for Linux, which are the programs that actually draw the windows, changes how they look and fee, ectl...
Together a Desktop Environment and Window Managers, you have many GUIs for Linux and *NIX based OSes...
So before you hate on something, please, have all the facts... :p

Yeah, screw Linux. I'd rather be a sheep and use a simple to use OS (winxp) with security flaws up the ying-yang, than to use an OS that's more difficult to learn and is far superior :D But honestly, I just don't have the patience to learn Linux (Me = Lazy bastard).

Its really not that hard to learn... And its becomming more simpler by the day... Install a version of SuSE, Mandriva, or Fedora... They are great beginner distros, plus they have plenty of power underneath... I learned on Fedora myself (well it was called Redhat at the time)...

thats pretty much it, plus microsoft used to pay me decent $$$ to test their buggy crap... i started with DOS and Windows and so i stuck with what i know, plus i dont know of many games that work on Linux, they are all windows/mac (sooner die before i get a mac)
EDIT: i tried to use it years ago and ralphed on myself.

Cedega (formerly WineX)... http://www.transgaming.com/ Is an implementation of the Microsoft Direct X API (application programming interface), and allows you to play many (if not all with enough configuring) Windows games thru Linux/*NIX...
So far Ive played Doom III, Warcraft III, Diablo II, Star Wars Republic Commando, and more on Linux thru Cedega... Believe it or not, they actually play much more smoothly than on Windows... With few problems, mostly with sound, what can I say the Linux developers still have some work in that area, either way, its rare... And if a game dosnt play, I simply boot into Windows (I do have a Windows XP install)...
But the only thing I use Windows for now is to extract pictures from my digital camera... I dont feel like configuring the cam to work on my linux kernel... Turns into a headache every time I try... And my Microsoft Money... Which can easily be replaced, when I have the time to convert all my finances to GNUCash or something similar for Linux.. Probably wait till the first of the year tho... And start from scratch...
(sooner die before i get a mac)
And another platform alot of people hate on, yet know very little about it...
(BTW not trying to start an argument here, just trying to inform and put some of these myths about Linux to rest)

Depends....
OBD0 == Turbo Edit & Ghetto Dyne
OBD1 == Uberdata and Crome
But youll need more than a program... Youll need a chipped ECU and a ROM chip burner...
