I live in Canada so it gets cold lol however I have a problem with my car (2000 Acura Integra), it seems to over cool to much. I'll be driving and my car heats up to normal operating temp. but as soon as I stop even for a minute or two, the tempature drops pretty fast. When its really cold the engine cools from normal temp to being cold in a matter of maybe a minute. I thought the thermostate was to blame so that was changed as well as the engine coolant. But now its getting cold again its starting to happen. Any suggestions? I've never had this problem with any other car in my life time.

I should also mention that this happens with or without the heater running in the car

it could be a bad thermostat.....cheap part idk how difficult that is on an Integra, because i've never had to replace one on mine.......yet

thermostat was replace.. used a new one for the acura dealership. and the results never changed.. are there any sensors that might be worn out that could be the cause?

i think its normal just your fan kicking on to cool the engine off, same thing happens with my car when the fan turns on, then it should turn off the car will warm up a bit and the fan will kick on. it most likely cools down that fast because its cold outside when the fan turns on. dont waste your money as long as the car doesnt overheat its not a problem.
