hey, i just noticed something a bit odd. I bought the 40k service kit from ecstuning. It included 4 Spark Plugs. Although upon removal of the OEM Spark Plugs i noticed they had 3 prongs, while the new ones from ECS only had 1 prong (NGK). Is this normal, are they the appropriate spark plugs. What should i do....btw, the car is a 2000 Golf 2.0 GLS 102k
dont laugh, its my first time ever doing maint. aside from oil change :disappoin

Yeah multi pronged spark plugs just offer more spark most of the time. It's fine as long as the rest of the stuff lines up.

actually the 3 prong plugs are from an aeg engine. the 1 prong is from the avh engine. Dont use the 1 prong platinum plugs becase the coil is designed for the 3 prong non platinum. The engine will run, but not to the fullest.
