wiring of sound system

I have a 2005 Nissan Sentra 1.8 S Special Edition with the Rockford Fosgate sound system package. I was interested in putting a different sub in but wasn't sure if any one knew how it was set up. Does that amp that comes with the system only power the sub or does it power the speakers as well? I was wondering if I was going to need a separate amp for the speakers and then another for the sub. Also, will this new change work with the 6 Cd changer that is already in?

you should be able to reuse the cd changer, i would swap amps, either bypass the rf amp or pull it, and run your own like you normally would, if you have any questions about a system install on a b15 chassis, just let me know

You should just be able to swap out that stock sub. I know it has it's own amp. It's not too powerful, but a larger sized sub will still benefit the sound. Just get a boxed 10" or 12"(whatever you want), and replace the rockford box with it using the same wires. Should be a cinch.

that would work if you just want some thump, if you wanna blow your windows off your going to need a new amp, just depends on what your goals are, if you dont want it to be high performance you can keep your stock amp, but to go very loud your going to need to swap

lol. the jackhammer was on Pimp My Ride and needs 6500W RMS....thats like a lot of fukin amps....and you need a new suspention set up since it weights 300lbs. iv heard of the clarion, never heard it go tho. On Pimp my ride, they got the Jack Hammer to hit 136 decibals

Whats up guys, i have an 06 sentra SE and i was just wondering... how would i do this:

I want to install a kicker amp(1000 watt max), w/ 2 JL 12" subs.
How can i do this installation since there's a 9" sub that came w/ the car? Can i keep it? and have 3 subs? or would i need to get rid of it?

Will the battery that i have now be able to handle the new subs?
