Oilpan

Anyone know of an easy way to drop the oilpan on a 98-2wd? This has to be a driveway repair.

When I replaced my pan gasket on my "96" Blazer. I had to rise the motor up about 2 inches to clear the oil pump when pulling the pan out. I didn't need to disconnect anything only the motor mounts. I place my floor jack on the bell housing and slowly raised her up. Hope that helps you.

certainly something to try...maybe as soon as the tranny shop figures out what they did to my truck.
