color code #

I am trying to find out the color code of my 2000 Wrangler sport. Dont know where to look ! What shall I look for ( how many digits is the code made of?) Thx

Thanks mate..interesting finding. But still I am not able to find the color of my jeep. I know it is green but no color codes for this anywhere

I'd think that if you went to the dealer and asked for the touch up paint, they should have the info....

I guess you are right.. I do not want to go to the stealer, This is the reason I am trying to find the color myself in order to buy online. I beleive the color is forest green pearl metallic as seen in an online ad for a jeep put on sale!! I still have to find the code for this color. Any idea?

I'd think a friendly parts guy would

1) Look it up for you
and
2) Suggest places you could get it

Open driver door...see the label?? (inside the hinge) as you're reading it sideways the way you will turn your head to read all that code it'll say "paint" or "pnt" or something like that there will be a code. i have a white 2000 wrangler sport my code is pw1 (i think that's it) it should be toward the "top" of the label second row.
