Mod's are:
Molded in fog lights cut out for LED's
Doors cut off
Door panels cut off
Hatch cut off with glass cut just like the real supras

I'll put a LED system in this car with 6 led's.I'll have 2 LED's for the headlights 2 LED's for the taillights and 2 LED's for the fog lights with 2 switches for the fogs and then the other 4.

Ill have to remake the rear of the interior out of styrene sheet so it is correct. Enjoy everybody,Im gonna make history! (not really but still)

HAHAHAHA naa its not the same van thats a chevy its my dads its awesome for trips lots of room comfey seats!

I could put a motor in it but then Id have nowhere for the battery,So im not gonna plus I dont really have a good curbside I could take to a show,so thats where this comes into play.

i accually own a real mkIII too and its so mint, pearl white with only 32,XXX kms on the whole car and its 18 years old, i love it lol, i want to make the model but no money. i'll just watch a pro build it :bigthumb:

Its been awhile since ive worked on this! I thought id whip this out yesterday and i started to scratch build the back half of the car since its now a opening hatch you can see alot more than the kit wanted you too. I started by chopping the stock back half off the interior tub.

It wont look like a real supra so understand that,but it will look like somebody took sheet metal and wanted to clean it up a bit while keeping a good look. Which is what im into,It still would hide all the wires and keep cargo from moving but it would look good and be lighter than all the carpet and other stuff. I still have to build the floor pan and other things to clean it up but i will keep you posted!

Oh! and rims! i might use these.....

Its the tamiya group A race car i cut up the interior pretty bad so its FAR from box stock in those pics.:sunglasse

That's the only kit I could think of that has a semi-gutted interior, and doesn't come with a set of stock wheels, though I like the kit wheels.

Wow man thats a nice project. You got some guts cuttin up that MK3 like that. But, its really turning out nicely.

This thing is gonna look crazy when done. Any idea on the color yet?

Heres a pic of my MK3 when bought. Fully loaded 90T with a340e->r154 conversion. Blew its gasket a month later. Never bothered with the rims (light, good tires) and never got around to anything else. Enjoy.

Im not sure if ill still do the led's,Thats gonna take alot of work and money a for LED's batterys wires,i dunno if im up to that. Im not hiroboy or toino so im not good at this stuff ive just had a streak of good luck where i dont mess things up.

and for the last time BHG'S ARE EASY FIXES!!!..........once youve done them 10-15 times you can do them in about a day ;)

nice car BTW trd.I have a white on grey leather 86.5 n/a 5spd targatop and a 87 maroon on grey leather n/a 5spd hardtop. :) my white car is in my sig :)

Update time YAY!!!!!!!!!! :grinyes:

I started today by cutting the 1 peice molded windows off so i could make the door windows look like they were rolled halfway down and life like.

After i cut them apart i cut some off of the side windows and off the top to see how they would look.

After i was done with the windows i noticed the dash looked kinda funky box stock. You can see in this old pic that the extended the glove box and driver side down all the way to the foot well. Seeing as that is not life like i cut those parts off!

So now the car has foot wells and not walls blocking them!

shouldnt say these things i just stripped my silent night mk4 and put it all in the parts bag so i got 1 but i wouldnt do that i already have a mk3 with engine detail so this detail is what is gonna make this stand out.

Ey Supaman member me!! XD well im coming back...i fell into a sense of how do i say this confusion and not knowing if i could ever go back to Modeling after my mom through away my Widebody Blitz Supra project thats was 80% complete and my Vielside Supra but Decided to come back and give it one more shot..But look out for it very soon The Supra 360 thats all im gonna say..Great progress any color you have in mind for that MK3

Woot woot update time!!! I made hinges for the hatch today!

I started out with the metal from a sparker handle. Small enough, Bendble, Easy to correct a wrong bend perfect for hinges!

I bent some up and made some hinges!

I also used .100'' evergreen rod.

I took the smallest drill bit i had,

And i drilled a hole in to the rod.

So i can slide the hinge end into it.

After i copied the hinge design for a second hinge i glued the hinges to the glass for a test fit.

Then i glued the rod with the hinges inserted in them into the car.

After the rod dryed into place i pulled the hinges off of the glass so i could paint the bodyand do more work.
