Hello
Do any of you guys know where in Auckland I can get some K&N, or eqivalent airfilters for my car?
I'm not sure if Repco stocks them, and I want to get something better then my paper airfilter!
Thanks

Repco stocks them, but thier not cheap.
Try a Part Master if you can find one, as they seem to be a little cheaper.
But if you want a REALLY good filter go to Segidens on Dominion road and get a Piper X filter.

Not cheap??? so what kind of price range does this indicate.
My airfilters at the moment are very cheap. Just 20 dollars from Repco, its one nice thing about carbourated cars!!

Well I was quoted about $120 for a filter for my car, and $135 for ther K&N from repco.
Part master had the paper filter for $35 and the K&N for $90

I bought a K&N about 1.5 years ago, Repco Quoted $185 but I got it from another place in palmy for $160 with a recharge kit, so essentially it was $130. The Twin Carb models have a fairly odd shaped filter, which probably explains the price.
IMHO it didn't do anything, but I don't drive my car hard anyway, so it could be argued as a waste of money.
But at least I'll never have to buy another air filter now, and its suppoed to make you use less fuel.. hmm right:bloated:

go to beyond motorworks St jude Street, Avondale u won't miss it
they have good air filters ranging from $70-$200
the $70 one is basically like a K&N but better looking and u will not find the performance difference between it and the K&N
