Jeep Cherokee headlights

I have a 95 Jeep Cherokee. The headlight switch broke so I replaced it with a new one from my Jeep dealer. Now when I pull out the switch niether the parking lights nor the headlights come on however the high beam indicator and both turn signal indicator lights come on solid. When I turn on the left turn signal, the left rear signal blinks but both front signals blink. When I turn on the right turn signal the right rear signal blinks but both front signals blink. My car does not have flashers on the fuse panel. I replaced the dual flasher relay but that had no effect. Can anyone help me with this problem?
