I took thje crown vic to a freind of mine he found out what was wrong it was some type of junction box or something wich is located behind the right hand headlight it has three connections on it and one said batt one said alt i forgot the other, but anyway it was burnt out my boy jumped a cable from the alt to the batt and it worked. He said it will do till I could find a new part. I went to the wreckers but out of about 40! Ford LIncolns And mercurys I couldnt find one I guess it must be a popular part that goes bad I went to advance auto but could tell them the name of the part does anyone know the name of this part? :banghead:

the voltage regulator is located on the drivers side fender wall this is located behind the passenger side headlight infront of the battery. and its a plastic box the ar is metal. You wont notice it unless you really look in there

Hey everyone the part I was talking about is a heated windshield relay. I called the dealer and found out it was discontinued. I guess thats why I couldnt find it at the wreckers. I found one on ebay for 20 bucks from a 90-95 towncar does anyone know if its compatible I have pics in members photo gallery
