Car cranks but hard start when warm

I searched the forum and i cant seem to find any problem related post.
I have a '99 Olds Intrigue. The car starts up fine and runs normal when the temperture is cold. But as soon as it warms up towards or pass the quarter mark on the temp gauge. The idle would flutuates and the car would die. There are no check engine light. I would then have to crank and kinda press on the gas pedal to get the to car to start again, but it would hesistate and somewhat backfire and die again. The car will start up fine when its completely cool down.

Sounds like the fuel pressure regulator, which I ended up replacing on my 00 Intrigue after posting to this forum with a problem similar to what you're reporting. Do a search on 'fuel pressure regulator' in this forum for details. Net is you need to remove plastic cover from top of engine and check the vacuum line attached to the FPR; if there is fuel in the vac line, the regulator should be replaced. The regulator is attached to the fuel rail (right side toward back of engine). After replacing this ~$60 part, the car starts fine.

I checked the FPR, its working fine. I borrowed an external fuel pressure gauge. hooked it up to the shraeder valve. With the car running fuel pressure was reading 45psi.
I checked the EGR, the ports are not clogged or anything.
The car idle smooth when its cold and right up to the 1/4 mark on the temp gauge thats when it starts to sputter, choke and die. When i crank start the car, it turns over (no problem, engine is warm) but i have to gas it to get it to run and i have to feather the gas pedal to keep the engine running or else it would die. then i have to repeat the process again. i tried unplugging the MAF sensor , the car would start up fine and run decent(kinda rough). but as soon as i plug the sensor back in, it would choke and die. I want to say its the MAF. but its a $140 dollar part.

My 1998 is doing this right now. I already replaced the Fuel Pressure Regulator and it didn't Help. If anyone has any insights I would apprecate it very much.

I would recommend starting a new post describing your symptoms instead of piggy back on an old post. Folks are pretty quick to help on this board. give them some of the symptoms you are experiencing.
