HF Manifold VS. Mod Eclipse manifold

I am running a 14b on a 98 civic ex. Well almost anyways. But my thing is I can decide on wether to go with the Hf manifold or make the eclipse 1G manifold work. I have a friend with the eclipse manifold on a civic but have not met anybody using the hf manifold. If there is anybody out there that is let me know how it is going.

please please please tell me more about the eclipse manifold! I've been wondering if it would work but no one knows. As far as the HF manifold, its okay, you need to port it out w/dye grinder. I'd just make sure theres very little back pressure after the manifold so the exhaust gases don't have to stay confined in a small space longer than they have to.

I picked up the hf manifold, and am working on my setup. But I am interested in the 1g manifold as well. I would be interested to see how it was done.

Ok here is how it works,,and it does work well I will try to get some pics up by this weekend..Ok you need your stock manifold and a 1G eclipse talon or whatever,,you have to cut both manifolds about half way down then just get them braised (welded) together. Then when you get it back from whoever did it you just take a die grinder and clean up the weld from the inside the best you can also try and port you old stock manifold just a little. Ok the only draw back is you lose everything that use to sit in front of it,,A/C and the little radiator that sits there. All you have to do is buy an after market electric fan and hook it up from the out side of your other radiator. The plus side is you can use all stock piping from and eclipse include the side mount that goes nicly in you driver side fender. It makes it look like your car came with a stock turbo!! It looks really goood. Like I said I will try to get some pics its my boys car and he lives about an hour from here. Clever. I knew it had to be something along the lines of cutting and welding. Isn't welding cast iron tricky/expensive?
