center console light

The light in the center console where the auto transmission shifter is located in my '00 sentra is burned out. Is there anyone who can tell me how to replace the bulb??

i personally don't think it has a bulb. if it does it's new to me and i guess I have the same problem.

I don't know either - I know that it used to light up when I turned the headlights on. I'm talking about part of the console where it displays the gear position of the automatic shifter.

take out the center console and see for yourself :)
probly not hard, there should be just a handful of screws to remove, and remove the handle of the shifter(sometimes theres a screw on the bottom of the handle). it should be right under the plate that says "1-2-D-N-R-P"

yea, sounds like imma do that when i get the time, prob the weekend. minez never showed up when i bought the car so idk. it really doesn't bother me since i know where each gear is actually.
