bad rocker arm

i previously posted about how i thought i had a collapsed lifter. well my father got to listening and he said it didnt sound quite like a lifter but rather like a valve hitting the head too hard. i pulled off the valve cover only to notice that one of my rocker arms was messed up pretty bad. i think the nut backed off and it spun around on the stud a little and wasnt hitting the valve in the correct spot, which caused the corner of the lifter to wear away.

i would like to know what kind of rocker the LT1 has. i thikn it is regular stamped steel but i just want to make sure. also i need to know what ratio it is. i think it is 1.6 but am not sure... thanks

The rocker on the LT1 is a basic 1.5 rocker. The LT4 had 1.6s. Make sure that you get the rocker for the late model, center-bolt VC heads as the older ones won't work correctly.

will 1.62 roller rockers work on the LT1?
