Navigation Disk

I have an 04' Trailblazer EXT Northface Edition. The Navigation disk that came with the truck was version 1.0. My friend just gave me the Nav disk from his 04' Hummer that is version 2.0 .(his Hummer was stolen). The new disk works in my truck but the version stayed at 1.0. My question is how do you load the disk so that the new data is updated to 2.0 version. If anyone knows how to do this, please let me know.
