Just a generalization of course, v6's don't fall too far behind, but I'm surprised no one mentioned this yet.

...2.06?!? It just dropped under 3$/gal 2 weeks ago. I'm ecstatic to see 2.84....

ya here in austin the cheapest is 2.33....it seems like they just double the prices for a few months and then they drop them down a bit to make everyone feel better about paying 2.33 a gallon....instead of 3.00....if this gas rise was because of katrina and all that shit...shouldnt it be going down back to the 1.50+ range.

Back home in Stone Mountain its 2.30 but here in Auburn, AL its 2.50. Its interesting how it shot from just barely above $2 to $3 overnight, but its taking weeks and weeks to drop $.05

tcfco is completely right, now we look at 2.30 as a good price when really, 2 years ago when i started driving 1.60 was a lot

cuda_dude
11-02-2005, 06:03 PM
atleast you guys dont have to run premium... thats like 2.50 right now... and when the gas prices were over 3dollars i was on my way up to paying 4 buck a gallon...

I hafta use premium as well, but I only spend about $20 a week since the job isn't even 5 minutes away.

2.30? I'd expect a little higher, weird thing is that I was in Dallas a while ago and gas was freaking 3.20 or so, and I was thinking "Wth" because when I drove back the gas price was still low over here in Ft Worth.

Since i have had my car nothing but premium has been pumped so i know what u mean, and with the MPG my car gets and the amount of driving i was having to do at the time it really killed me. I don't mind paying it tho cause i love to drive my car, that and my other vehicle is a full size GMC truck with a 350, wastes just as much gas as the car.
