Looking @ the 4g makes me think if mitsu designers where smoking something different when they designed the 3g. If they ever produce this AWD 4g63 4G(chances seem very slim) it would be one really expensive eclipse. Insurance companies would love this car aswell.

Holy shit that is badass. I always knew that the 4g would look 100x better with a spoiler besides the pos little one that's on the current ones. But, adding 4g63t power AND awd just makes the deal so much sweeter. I would love to have one if I don't like the redesign of the upcomming Evo X. Down the road, I would eventually get an Evo, but if this comes out, I'm definately in!

Yeah I can see a little 350z in there, but I can really see 97-99 on the front bumper and I will be god damned if those headlights dont look exactly like the 03 and up Cavalier's headlights!

The 4G looks 80% like the Audi TT. Same shape and besides, Mitsubishi is a big fan of Audi ( I've heard :) )

This is the HK$ version, if it were ever a production model, it would have sub-300hp numbers.

Bigger wheels=faster. Or, not.

Anything that has carbon fiber is necessarily faster. A carbon fiber tank is lighter than the Evo, too. Or, not. They're entirely different cars.

Besides, the 4g63 Eclipse is based off of the same 4g chasis. In a head-on competition, I don't see it having a chance.

From a production standpoint, Mitsu would be unlikely to issue two cars that would compete against each other. At this point, the Evo is seen as more of a sport performer, and I doubt the AWD 'clipse would be marketed against that. More likely, it would be marketed as something lesser. They're hot, I'd rock it, but even if it happens, it won't be marketed as an Evoish car.

If I'm wrong I'll eat my words, it wouldn't be the first time :)

If it is every produced (:grinno:), I can't see them letting the Ralliart Edition go for under 30k. My questions is, would they put a 4g63 in more trim levels than just the Ralliart? Or would they stay with the current engine line up and just make this a special exception?

Has anyone else noticed that the 4 main turbo cars avalible now are all 4-door? (evo, wrx, sti, srt4) in fact i can't think of any 2-door turbo cars in a resonable price range.

LMAO. No dude. After the POS 7-bolt crankwalked on me over 3 months ago, I had no choice but to "civic" my way to school and work. It's a nice get-around actually, 2000 year, roll-up windows, auto, great MPG no tach... better than the bus I guess, I should be thankful! :lol2: The funny thing is, for the longest time, I'd forget I wasn't in my eclipse anymore, and pull up to an integra all bad, and realise DAMN. No bov histle, no turbo spool, all civic. haha.
