Battery Charging light on Dash?

Hi,
In the last couple days, the red "battery" light has come on intermittently. I looked in the manual and it says it's the battery charging light? I haven't had any problems starting it. I'm going to take it to Autozone or similar place to have the battery checked. However, does anyone else have any other ideas?

Getting the battery tested is a good starting point. Also check to see if the serpentine drive belt is in good condition. If battery doesn't do it then check into the alternator. Good luck!
