4g63 piping question

Wow, my 1,000 post is actually a question about the 4g63. "I'd like to thanks God, my family..."

Yeah, anyways. Quick question. Going from the turbo, there is a pipe that leads to the airfilter. That also goes throught the MAS? About half way through, there is a pipe that then goes to the BOV. There is a little pipe on the BOV that leads where?

Then, is the bottom of the BOV connected to the pipe coming from the TB going to the SMIC (or FMIC)?

Is this all correct? Thanks.

POST 1000 BABY!! I've been here too long

the hose connects to your intake manifold...and yes the pipe comming from the throttle boddy does go into your smic...

Is there 2 pipes or only 1 that comes and goes from the SMIC? Just the one coming from the TB? I thought FMIC have 2 pipes? Thanks

Where does the other one go then? I see the one going from the TB/IM to the SMIC, but where is the other pipe then? Thanks

On a 1g the inlet is on the bottom and on the side of the SMIC. The inlet is pretty much hidden looking from the top of the engine compartment. This for a 1g. For 2gen believe the turbo's outlet is already on the bottom and would be even more well hid.

Huh?

So the outlet of the turbo is connected to the SMIC? I thought that went straight to the DP and exhaust? I'm lost. Sorry.

the one from the tb go's in to the smic and the one leaving connects back to your turbo...

The COMPRESSOR outlet goes into the SMIC. Thats the pressurized, pre-ignited air. It goes into the SMIC, out the SMIC. Into the intake manifold, then the cylinder. Fuel air mixture ignites. Then the exhaust gasses go through the exhaust manifold, then through the exhaust side of the turbo where it either hits the turbine wheel or out the wastegate. Both lead to the downpipe.

ok you know where the upper intercooler pipe is correct? and how it goes down through the front passenger fender to the intercooler right??? well then there is another pipe on the other side of the intercooler which goes to the turbo its self.
