How in the world do I replace front amber turn lights? Just bought a 2000 Taurus, love it, but bulb is dead. Looks like I need a brain surgeon to get inside assy. to replace the bulb. Help needed in Ohio!

Remove the front light assembly housing. It's simple; remove one hex head screw(10mm), pull up and out the two metal tabs on top (they have black plastic coating at the pull area). That frees the housing, pull (manouver) it out, you'll have access to every bulb socket.

Yo, Banjoman!
Did what you said and it worked like a gem. I guess I may have been able to figure it out, but I am not familiar with these newer cars (2000).
Thanks for your help. This Automotive Forum really works!
I am not expert on Taurus, but I can give good advice on the old Pintos (I owned 3 and even fixed mine once on the Towson/NY Ramp at Interstate 695 and I-95 many years ago.
Here's to you for helping me. Thanks again, Theoted, Byesville, OH
