Does anyone know where i can get replacement interior? for example, my door leather is ripped on both doors and i need either replacements or even custom material. And i would also like to replace the dash with something custom. Are there any sites i can visit that have specific items like this for the del Sol? Any help is greatly appreciated.

custom dashes don't exist unless you make it yourself. And you have to know fiberglass like no tomorrow. Door panels can be recovered in a different material. There's not really a whole lot of custom products available for Sols. But I've been doing custom interiors on my sols for about 3 years now. I had one wrapped in burgundy satin (bad idea, but it looked really cool when it wasn't being stupid), and currently my interior is done in black velour (aka sexiest stuff evar). Where are you located? I might be able to work something out for you if you want me to do your interior.

Auto zone makes dash covers for many types of vehicles. You can also find good sites for 'fake' wood trim.
I got a quote for my seats to be leather and they said 800 dollars. 200 to redo the carpeting. They were gonna give me the leather so i could take it to an embroidery shop first. I was gonna get a dragon custom tailored onto my seats. That is usually paid per stitch.
There is a company called goldtouch that has chome paints (in about any color) that can be applied to any surface. If you can find a dealer in your area that could be a sweet touch.
Anything you do, please show us pictures!

well, if i can't just buy anything already made i'm going to do it myself most likely. i don't have the kinda money to pay for labor and such. But to *94SolGrl* thanks for your help but i don't think you live anywhere near me. nobody does. i live in southern Ohio. where do you live?

I'm in North GA. If you want to pay shipping and stuff, I can have your panels done in 24 hours and shipped back to you. Just have to have some notice so I can get a day off work. As in you send me the panels, the fabric, say $50 per panel for the service, and return shipment, and I'll cover them and send them back (fedex store here is open 24hrs) I've done a couple of people's stuff piece by piece like that.

Cool. I live near potsmouth. Actually, I'm about 30 mins north of it. off of US-23. And *94SolGrl*, Thanks. I'll have to think about it. I'm really not that funded at the moment. The next thing i'm going to get for my car is probably headers, and a full exhaust system. but after that i will consider your proposal about the panels and such. Thanks for your help.

Here's some pics of my del Sol. Everything you see has already been done to the car before i got it but everything is put on crooked and i'm probably going to replace the body kit and hood. I'm going to also fix some rust on it and then primer it for now. then in the spring i'm going to paint it lime green. i already have the paint. things i have done myself: Cold-Air Intake, replaced shift knob with a carbon-fiber one, smoked license plate shield, rear-view mirror. There are things missing like a glove-box and different things. i'm just doing little things mostly. not much money right now.

isn't it nice when you get a car with a bunch of stuff alreay done to it? I like that hood. Id keep it. Hard to find nice hoods for del sols.

yeah. but the hood is so messed up. it's on crooked and the holes are just terrible. i need to fiberglass where some holes are from some hood pins that used to be there. so i don't know. and where the fenders are screwed in place, it's all cracked and crap. the person that put everything on didn't know what they were doing. so...

I'll take that hood off your hands if you want an OEM one. :D

Do they make hydrolic kits for del sols? That would be sweet. put steel plates underneath and lower it to the ground when you park.

they make air ride kits for them, but generally your suspension turns to something resembling mush after you put it on.
