installing brake pads

ok this a dumb question...but i took both sides off in the back and cant member which pad goes where...is that extra metal guide face the top on the back pad or does it face the bottom?...installing the new new tein struts,power stop rotors and hawk brake pads...and I am at a point of break cause i couldnt figure this out myself....

there should be shims on all the pads. as for putting the brackets back in, they only go in one way. just play with it till you get it right.

naw i figured it out its the wear indicator I was talking about couldnt member if it was suppose face top or bottom...lol...stupid post of me...haha

thats why you only do one side at a time so that way you have the other side as reference
