Most likely it's the d15b vtec (no H in vtec). But it'd definently be a swap, or they would have worded it differently in the ad (like jdm crx, not sohc jdm vtec). It's basically the same as the d16z6 (civic ex and si engine) with about 5hp more.

Honestly just because some one throws "JDM" on the title means very little now days... I've seen people calling d16z6's JDM, the only way to know what engine and where it came from is to look at the stamp on the block. However, If it is a SOHC vtec then yes, it will have around 130 hp.

Exactly...
Ppl must think JDM means engine swap or somthing... 9 times outta 10 a "JDM SOHC VTEC" swap is not JDM... There are actually few SOHC VTEC engines that are JDM (that are imported here)... For the simple fact that they are the same HP as the ones that are already here... Even the ones that are imported are rare... Theres the D15B VTEC, ZC VTEC (yes it does exist but it is rare), and the D16A VTEC (found in an AWD civic in Japan)... Either way, the numbers are about the same... So it really dosnt matter... They are all about 125~130HP, and 100~106 ft lbs... It just shows the ignorance of some people calling a D16Z6 "JDM"... Its not...
