What do you guys use to wipe down the body of your models to remove tape residue and fingerprints and such? I have heard of people using precleaner. If this is true, what is it and who makes it and where can I get me some? Thanks everyone!
-Chris...Also, what can I use to remove paint off my hands that is safe? I am using acrylic laqcuers.

I use rubbing alcohol....works great for me.
Wear latex gloves when you're spraying, then you don't get paint on your hands. Any other time, a scrubbing brush and soap will remove paint.

After sanding the whole body (and filling/seam removal, etc.), I scrub it with water, a bit of dishsoap, and an old toothbrush. This takes care of mold release, finger prints, sanding dust, etc. Isopropyl will do much the same, but I like to scrub the body to help get sanding dust out of panel lines and the like.
And wear gloves. You don't want laquer on your skin. If you do need to get paint off your hands, get some automotive hand cleaner. Does the trick very nicely.

before paint I use water, a bit of soap and toothbrush
after polishing, for fingerprint and maskingtape res. just tamiya wax, work perfect also on transparents
BUT I'd like someone of you take attention on that stuff, that's around that topic: don't you think that by polishing/waxing a finished body you increase electrostatic electr. and by that dust on model? I've this feeling during waxing, also after that I put finished model underglass:iceslolan
