Silverado Z71 vs Evo VIII

I was riding with my friend tonight.. we just put some gas in his truck, and we were on our way to his neighoborhood to cause some "Halloween mischief"

We pull out, and get to the stop light, and low and behold, is a black Evo VIII. I say to him "Oh snap, an Evo. Race it." He power brakes it, and tries to do a burnout. The guy and his girl paid no attention to us.. in a muddy, black Chevy pickup.

Light goes green, and we both turn, as soon as we make the turn, we pace him for a few seconds. No bite, so we continue on our way, when all of a sudden.... WAAAAAAAAA PSHT WAAAAAAAAAAAA by the time my friend floored it, the Evo had multiple bus lengths on us.. as soon as the Evo slowed down, we do the good ole ricer fly by. lol.

i hate it when ppl do that, you dont know if they wanna race, so you're like "wtf" when they take off, i dont think most evos will wanna race an old looking muddy chevy truck though

i think that the best sound in the world would be hearing on the radio that all our soldiers were coming home for good from iraq......because i'll tell you the truth, even though i signed up with full knowledge that i may be going....i still don't WANT to go...lol
