im going to paint the dash trim and center console in my 04 and have afew questions, what grit sand paper should i use to get rid of the bumps in the plastic? can i use just any primer afer i sand and clean it?
and what color trim do yall think will go good with the standard black interior? also my exterior is metallic blue if that matters, oh yea anyone got any stuff that fits a 04 they wanna sell, lights body kits rims ect...

im not sure about the grits but after just use rubbing alcohol after and use a krylon plastic paint, they dont require primer, bond with the plastic. Just remember when painting the dash, the lighter the color, the more reflective and will reflect onto the windshield. You could match it with ur exterior which would look really nice, or a color that would really work well with the blue, go to their site, check all the different colors.

Paint thinner or stripper. About the color reflecting on the windshield, my friend has blue, you barely notice it.

are you talking about painting the soft part of the dash cover? also how the hell do you get the window roller off to get the doo panel off?

Theres a horse shoe clip, you can jimmy it with a screw driver or go to any parts store and get a GM window crank removal tool. They are really slick.

I tried to take my window crank off with a screw driver and i couldn't get it... So eventually I went and got a butter knife... 2 seconds just popped right off

You will have to push the door in and pull out a little on the crank then look between the door and the crank you will see a little horse shoe clip that you will have to jimmy (refer to illustration)

well i bought the crank remover and no luck damnit, also i came up with a awsome idea today, you know those bezels you can put over the rear reflective part on the 03+ models? well i said screw it and im paining min plack BUT im gunna make it a bit different, the parts where the lenses raiseout from the main part a tiny bit are going to be the only parts not blacked out so it will look awsome i hope, ill buy a digi cam tomorrow so i can post some pics of my project, also came up with a project name for the car "Project Chevy Cavity"
