my friend has a 96 2.2l cavi. pretty much it wont start at all, the car cranks but it wont fire up. about a month ago the car was over heating and after taking it to the shop we found it needed a new fan moter and relay. the car ran like crap still...it bounced from hot to cold all the time, i dont know if it may have anything to do with what wrong with it now . already a ignition modual, a fuel filter, and the fuel pump was checked. her dads friend looked at the car and tried to start it and they said water shot out of the reserve bottle (with it open) when trying to start it....the spark plugs are said to be saturated with gas . now like i said the car wont start at all and me having a camaro and have worked on a cavi verry little im not as tuned in as u guys are...any suggestions will be great. thanks

I would replace the head gasket. that is what it sounds like to me. Remeber when you do that, you have to replace the head gasket bolts with new ones. I would also replace the thermostat. Then see what happens and post again and tell us.

Go to auto zone and they will plug in there computer and tell you what the code means for free.

P0107 is "Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit Low Input". If you do a site search for that code, it may turn up more. All P0107 codes should be the same problem although the exact solution may vary from car to car.
