My front end is jumping to the left or the right if I hit a pebble in the road. What could this possible be? I have to hold my steering wheel to keep control. I love the car but this is weird.

Broken suspension component. Could very well be in the back. Have the entire thing checked out.

Thanks for responding. Will this be expensive and should I take it to the lincoln dealership?

I would prepare for the worst, and yes, a Lincoln dealership would be best. Jaguar second, and Ford third.

It could be anything from a broken shock mount, to a broken a-arm, to a worn bushing, to loose lug nuts, to a mismatched tire.

Ok I'll pray for the loose lug nuts. I know that the tires are the same because I bought all four of them at the same time from the same place. (Which still doesn't mean much) but they cost me almost 500 dollars so they are pretty good. I had them balanced and rotated a couple of weeks ago and they didn't say anything was wrong.

check out the message I've put in the forum. I was reading another forum and saw your name and you said you have a 2000 lincoln LS with over 100k on it. It's a great car I just want to know what should I be expecting.
