well i went through about every sub forum i could find around here and not one seemed sutable enough so i just stuck it in here, feel free to move it if you wish.
now my question :) i plan to get a alarm system for my '01 tiburon but cant decide which one, it currently doesnt have power door locks but im going to change them to power before i install a alarm on the car,
looking for one thats at least some what reasonable priced, trying to stay below $250 usd
if it comes with a engine imobilizer, remote starter, or flame throwers, its a nice bonus :) but looking for a good quality one with at least keyless entry, panic button, or any other goodies a alarm system should come with
thanks for any help

DEI brands. ---> viper, clifford. remote start is gonna cost you more and probably put you over 250.

just remember, alarm brand really doesnt mean jack shit. as long as they work like they should brand x with the same features as a crappy brand will not necessarily be better. the sensors, maybe...but the brain of the alarm would be the same. the effectiveness of an alarm is probably 5% alarm brain, 30% sensors, and 65% quality of install. having the brain in an easily accesible spot will render even the most expensive alarms useless.
i pretty much built my alarm system with various components. my uncle gave me an alarm for free, and then i started buying the other necessary items to have a bitchin alarm.

all in all, im pretty stoked about this. im gonna try and take some time off from work mid august do get EVERYTHING i have planned for the car completely DONE.
since getting that, i have bought 2 closed loop sensors, proximity sensor, glass break sensor, tilt sensor, and am using the shock sensor that came with the alarm. most of the sensors are DEI stuff. the things include backup battery, and interior mini piezo pain generating siren. and i have my car torn apart right now, which i will be making a new post about in a couple of minutes ;)
