...when you can't take it anymore? I mean like you really, really don't want to go on. You wake up every day so you can go to a thankless job and work your ass off to not get noticed. You leave work and have nothing to look forward to except a few fleeting hours of video games or computer time that can't possibly replace what you don't have. You know you're totally empty inside and feel like you have no purpose.. like the seizmic reading of your death would be about a .01 and you think it's almost worth it.
What then?

Ill explain my meager solutions to this, when we get a few replies :)

Jokes aside, I know how you feel man. I am currently going through the same thing at mine. I bust my ass and what do I get, bumped!!:mad:

I'm not mad at the "people" who ended up with the "position" I would have gotten, but I try to look on the bright side. Now at least, I am doing less work, which = less headaches, and not have to worry so much about other crap. I am still getting the same pay for the less work. But I also tend to have a nice expectation. I don't think the current way things are set up is going to work, and when it flops and they come calling me, I'm only interested in how much more money they are going to give me. Other than that, I'm not interested in the position anymore and don't mind doing what I am doing now.

I think DVS was right on about the nudie bar. It's a total waste of money, but I always walk out of those places broke, but with a big smile on my face. "What? Nuclear war broke out? Who cares, did you see that tall brunette in there? Damn!"

If your not injoying where you are in life, then Fuck it and move on. There are thousands of diffrent jobs out there, you just have to find one that you enjoy. Go back to school, do another degree, search the papers, ask your mates if theres other jobs out there.

If your not happy with your life then you can either quite (death is easy) or change (which can be fun). :cool:

That's why I'm glad I knew what I wanted to do in life when I was still in high school. Now I'm in college, taking an Automotive Marketing course, currently working with brand new Porsches everyday, and loving every second of it. Also, if you ever get a chance, try stuff like that (working in the autoshow). I never used to know if I wanted to do sales or not, because I had no real experience talking to people about products, but doing it today, I loved every second of it. A friend of mine that took and graduated from the same course is currently working in the auto industry, and, everyday, he can't wait to wake up and go to work. Just sit back and think about what you really really want to be doing 90% of the time, and see what possibilities there are out there.

BTW, I very unfortunately can't make it to Barrie this weekend, too much damn homework and my dad dosen't want to make the drive. I am just going to rot away in Math.
