a prank that has a great outcome

over the weekend i got a classic halloween prank done to my house. someone toilet papered the trees and egged my driveway. the amatuers only used 2 eggs and half a roll of paper--easy to clean up--not mad at all--plus i figure it's payback from when i was a kid....hehe. i think they were scared off by the dogs.

anyway, some of the egg got on my vinyl spare tire cover (99 passport rear tire). i went to wash it off and noticed that the honda passport logo was very clean and white where the egg dripped down, the rest looked faded and gray.

so i got an idea and put some more egg on there and let it dry approx the same amount of time (the prank egg wasn't dry yet). behold, the lettering looks brand new and bright white. why do you think it is?

it worked though.
