I started this kit a long time ago, but the progress is quite slow. Now I took some photos from the almost finished parts. I used S27 and Renaissance carbon decal.

looks pretty sweet, i want to build one of these one day, however money doesnt allow right now.


one thing though, it took 7 mins for your pics to load, might need a new photo host.

Maybe there was a problem with the image host server. But for me the pictures appears immediately when I open the thread.


The purchase of this kit was quite strange. This is a french kit and I live in Europe. But, it was cheaper to buy it from a US shop including air postage fee.

I hope I can finish it still this week. Than I will start new thread with finished photos from a .com image host for faster download

After several complaint for the image host I uploaded the pictures to a different (probably faster) host.

Some progess. More CF work and the fuel cap.

Still a lot of CF work has to be done. But I do no give up :)

Looks really good so far.

Incidently, there's a nice piece on the production of the Amalgam 1/8 Bentley in this months SMI - which nearly makes up for the Airfix 1/12th Blower bentley build in the same issue! :(
