I have an 2002 trail blazer and am having some strange electrical problems. Keyless entry no longer works. I have tried to reprogram them with option #1 from other post and had not luck at all. My dome lights will not fade off like they used to. In fact the only way I can get the dome lights off is to push the button in near the headlight switch. My licsense plate lights do not work. My rear wiper does not work. My rear hatch does not lock. And when the rear hatch is open and vehicle not running there is a clicking sound coming from the BCM in the hatch.
Any ideas please help
thanks

I had similar problems with my '02 TB. Went to the dealer, and they ended up replacing the rear hatch locking mechanism. This stopped the constant clicking noise coming from it. When they were checking this out, they also found that some of the wiring in the rear was shorting -- thus causing the problems with the keyless entry and rear wiper not working sometimes. They fixed this and I haven't had any problems since. It's been about 8 months since I had this repaired and everything is still working OK. Everything was covered under my GM warranty (minus $100 deductable).

Finally I got all the problems fixed today. The main problems was a bad ground on the BCM under the rear seat. The other problem was the new BCM I replaced in the rear hatch was no good. Put the old one back in and all works ok now. Thank You for all the help
