Maybe it would have something to do with it having Nismo Rims??? :dunno:
Those are the LMGT2s (or LMGT3s, I can't remember) Those are the ones that are fairly hard to find.
Then theres a set of those ass ugly 16s from Ostres sig on Jspec.

LMGT4s
Im wanting to do a 18" wheel up front and a 19" wheel in rear.
What is the biggest width that can fit up front?
18x7.5" Offsets in +30, +40
18x8.5" Offsets in +25, +30, +40, +43(hoping to fit this)
18x9.5" Offsets in +12, +30, +38
What is the biggest width that can fit in rear?
19x9.5" Offsets in +12, +20, +25, +28, +30, +40(hoping to fit this)
19x10.5" Offsets in +15, +30, +38
I understand I may have to tub the front and i will definately pull the fenders with widebody fenders to follow sometime...
RW240 Ive noticed your guru on wheels around this place now enlighten me and let me be on my way to nirvana.

On an S14? On Stock Fenders?
18x9.5 +12 19x10.5+15R
The Rear will need a decent pull and camber, but if your gonna man up enough to do 18/19 stagger you should be man enough to do some hammer/fender work.
Honestly Id do 17/18 Stagger or 18 all the way. Most people with 18s in the front that actually drive their car say they cant go low enough with 18s on the front.

what about a s14 on tanabe coilovers that are all the way low. as it is now with stock rims, the wheel gap is not even there, the top of the wheel is above the bottom of the fender, so it could go a little wider but not too much. to do, say, 17x9 +20 would the fender need some work? it certainly looks like it.

Its an S13...not an S14. I wish the LMGT4s came in 17 :(.
18x8.5" +25 Fronts
18x9.5" +12 Rears
Sound good?
What do you mean low enough?Just to get rid of tire gap? My friend runs 18s and its fine on an S13.
What process do people do to tub the front wheel wells? Custom metal work or what?

They do, you just have to order them from japan
18x8.5" +25 Fronts
18x9.5" +12 Rears

The fronts will fit with a Roll. The Rear will need a 30mm pull to fit but yeah it would fit.
Personally Id do 17x9 +10 Front and 18x9.5 Rear if I had money for better wheels. Right now Im running 17x9 +20 all the way around (S14 Front Lower Control Arms) and Im at about 2.7~5 front camber and stock poor boy camber in the rear and all I needed was a fender roll.

Low as the frame rail or fender arch low... I could tuck 18s all the way around and my car would still be a mile off the ground. As my car sits right now my frame rail and oil pan are about 4in off the ground.
What process do people do to tub the front wheel wells? Custom metal work or what?
Depends, I did a write up in the tech section on what you need to be low with decently sized wheels. However once you get into the wider 18in sizes on S13s you'll prolly need to tub the front wells infront of the strut tower to get to full lock

That helped thanks...Whats the biggest you can get up front without tubbing? On a 17" rim?
R.W.240
11-05-2005, 03:02 AM
You shouldnt have to tub for any sized 17s on the front.
On MOST Coilovers (some Brands like D2 an Zeal have smaller lower brackets for less scrub radius.)
17x9 +20 235/40
17x9.5 +12 235/40
Those are pretty much the minimum and maximum for the front... 9.5 may be infrigning on overfender territory depending on your taste.
Other than that I know 18x9 +15 is a decent fit with 3 degrees of camber and some hammering.

Ok what about the rears?
17x10 +12 Sound good I plan on running 275/40 on the rear.
EDIT: Wont 235 on a 9 or 9.5" rim have a decent stretch?

Ehhh... its not that big of a stretch. 255 is perfect square.
17x10 +12... I smell FN01Rs... 275 should be perfectly square though.
