90honda civic powersteering trouble

i hvae a 1990 honda civic hatchback i recently bought. it has no powersteering whatsoever. i wanted to know that if the car has a different engine from the manufacture do i need to by a customized bracket. i recently purchased a pump from some guy on eaby its the right size but my boyfriend says i might need a customized bracket to fit it the engine. i have no idea what he's talkin about. so whoever answers please explain

You are in for alot of work.
Items you need...
Pump
reservor?
steering box
Bracket
belt/pulley
You might be able to get most of the list at a junkyard. I would suggest that you look at a Civic or Accord power steering to get an idea of what you need. I don't have pictures Sorry
If this seems too much try raising the air pressure in the front tires. This will make it a little easier to steer. 32 - 33 PSI
